Dumbarton Castle Walnut Sgian Dubh
Details:
Part of the ‘Heritage Series’ of Gemini, this hand crafted Sgian Dubh kilt knife has a 1080 & 15N20 carbon Damascus blade with textured ricasso and flats. The handle is made using beautifully grained Walnut which has been stabilised. The Walnut itself was sourced from the courtyard of Dumbarton Castle. In 2018 one of the limbs of the tree collapsed and was generously given to Gemini by Historic Environment Scotland for future projects. The handle is completed with a laminated and textured brass and black G10 bolster, brass pin and a hand made textured leather sheath.

Hand crafted Sgian Dubh with 136 layer Damax stainless damascus blade with forged in Saltire crosses along the bevels of the blade. Polished finish with a lovely shine and a contrasting darker section of signature texturing on the Ricasso and flats of the blade.
