The Recycled Series knives: Knives with history

In an attempt at reducing the amount of waste produced and usable materials being wasted, the ‘Recycled Series’ knives are made completely from locally recycled materials, reducing the carbon footprint of any knife making.

Choosing this option can reduce the amount of new raw materials being used in the manufacturing process such as ‘off the shelf’ new steels and exotic handle materials sourced from across the globe.

Wether it is a Sgian Dubh kilt knife with a blade forged from a leaf spring sourced from a local scrap yard or a kitchen knife with an Oak handle sourced from a local house demolition - every part of the ‘Recycled Series’ knives will be upcycled from materials sourced locally within the UK and each knife will come with a personalised letter stating where each material came from and what it used to be.

Each knife of this series will be stamped with the ‘Recycled Series’ stamp shown above. The footprint not only indicates the blade has been made entirely from recycled materials but also adds a conversation starter to anybody seeing your knife. Every piece of your new knife will have a lifetime of pre-existing memories from before it was upcycled into its new working form.
